Entertainment One (eOne) appointed new partners to create PJ Masks products across a range of toy and seasonal categories. The new items will begin to roll out at retail in April. Just Play continues its role as master toy licensee for the brand in the U.S. and Canada, with new and expanding lines that will release this year.
New licensees in the U.S. include Little Kids for bubble toys, Playhut for play tents, Swimways for water toys, and What Kids Want for novelty seasonal toys. New licensees for the U.S. and Canadian markets include First Act for musical instruments, Tech 4 Kids for novelty lighting products, and Jazwares and LeapFrog for consumer electronics.
PJ Masks premiered in the U.S. in September 2015. Last year, PJ Masks was one of Disney Junior’s top series, where it reached 64 million total viewers across the U.S. The series also currently reaches 29 million viewers across 10 markets throughout EMEA on Disney Junior.
PJ Masks is produced by eOne and Frog Box, in collaboration with French animation studio TeamTO, along with Disney Junior and France 5. The series is based on French author Romuald Racioppo’s picture book series Les Pyjamasques.
