Toy Fair Exhibitors Donate Record Number of Toys & Games

Following the 114th North American International Toy Fair, exhibiting toy companies donated a record-breaking number of nearly 55,000 new toys to the Toy Industry Foundation’s (TIF) Toy Bank, according to the Toy Industry Association.

At the close of Toy Fair, more than 80 volunteers swept the aisles of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center to collect action figures, outdoor toys, ride-ons, dolls, board games, plush, and more, from hundreds of toy companies. The toys are currently being separated and sorted, and will be sent to TIF’s national partner, Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA), and several charities in the New York tri-state area serving kids who are impoverished, neglected, sick, or otherwise in need.

Toy Fair is the Toy Bank’s largest annual toy collection, but TIF serves kids in need with the help of toy donationsfinancial contributions, and volunteer efforts all year long.
