legoninjagoThe LEGO Group and Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) revealed the licensing and merchandising program for The LEGO Ninjago Movie, including apparel, accessories, costumes, toys, publishing, stationery, party goods, and more. 

LEGO will launch more than 15 original construction sets inspired by the movie to let fans recreate scenes from the film, including the Spinjitzu Training Dojo, Ninjago City Chase, Master Falls, Manta Ray Bomber, “Garmadon, Garmadon, GARMADON!,” and the intricate Ninjago City. Fans can also add to their Ninjago adventures with additional building sets that will feature such fun new collectibles as the Water Strider, Jelly Sub, Green Ninja Mech Dragon, Lightning Jet, Garma Mecha Man, Fire Mech, Ice Tank, Temple of the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon, and Destiny’s Bounty.

Global retailers such as Walmart, Target, Toys “R” Us, and more, will support the movie with various programs, product displays, and all-inclusive ‘retailtainment’ offerings, including in-store events and exclusive products.

WBCP and The LEGO Group have partnered with Handcraft Manufacturing, SGI Apparel, Isaac Morris and Bioworld for ninja-inspired looks and designs. The companies also partnered with Clic Time for kid-friendly watches and clocks; Sakar with phone cases; Hallmark with greetings and gift presentation; Party City with party goods; and Franco Manufacturing with a new line of home décor that includes bedding; and more.

Also included are works from four tie-in publishers, DK Publishing, Scholastic, Ameet, and Blue Ocean. The robust movie tie-in program incorporates storybooks, readers, activity books, sticker books, magazines, junior novel, guidebook, and more.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie will be in theaters worldwide on Sept. 22. Products and programs inspired by the movie will begin rolling out this week and will be available at retailers around the world.
