Sakar International partnered with Spin Master, Beat Bugs, Sony, and more for new youth electronics based on popular kids properties. The company will showcase these new products at Fall Toy Preview in Dallas from Oct. 3 to 5.
Sakar will exhibit an expanded line of The Emoji Movie youth electronics, based on the Sony Pictures Animation movie. The offerings include volume-limiting headphones, featuring Gene, the protagonist of the film; molded earbuds, which come with a Deluxe Travel pouch; and a “Poop” emoji plush speaker. All three items are currently available at Toys “R” Us.
Following the continued success of Hatchimals, Sakar partnered with Spin Master for Hatchimals Karaoke, featuring flashing lights and viewable lyrics. Hatchimals molded walkie talkies and an on-the-go MP3 microphone will also be available. The full line is currently available at Toys “R” Us, Barnes & Noble, and other retailers.
Sakar also teamed up with licensing partner MGA Entertainment for Num Noms and Project Mc2 licensed youth electronics. The Num Noms Molded Walkie Talkies will be scented and available at Toys “R” Us stores in the fall, with additional products in stores for spring. The Project Mc2 line is spy-gear inspired and includes a 4-in-1 spy recorder, spy coder, bio-metric scanner, pen walkie talkies, virtual reality headsets and password diaries. This line is currently available at Barnes & Noble.
The company will also debut Barbie Molded Kid-Safe headphones, Walkie Talkies, and a Barbie Flashlight, expected to hit shelves late October, in partnership with Mattel. The Molded Kid-Safe headphones incorporates volume limiting technology. In addition to the products currently available, Sakar will be offering a range of Bluetooth and CD+G karaokes, musical instruments, dance mats, and more. Sakar has also created a separate cost-friendly line specifically for stores such as Burlington Coat Factory, TJ Maxx & Ross. This line will also include walkie talkies, flashlights, headphones, microphones, musical instruments and more.
Sakar also created a new line inspired by the preschool series, Beat Bugs, which is currently available at Target. The Sing Along Karaoke is shaped just like Walter Walrus, one of the main characters, and can be paired with the MP3 Microphone. Just like the show, kids can go on their very own adventures with the Beat Bugs Molded Walkie Talkies. The Beat Bugs Piano Dance Mat helps kids learn dance steps and comes with pre-programmed songs as featured on Beat Bugs. The line also includes an adjustable kids-safe headphone featuring the Beat Bugs characters and built-in volume limiter that provides clear sound at a safe noise level. The full product line is now in stores and online at Target.
In partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, on behalf of DC Entertainment, Sakar will preview its new line inspired by Justice League. The new Justice League line will include walkie talkies, waterproof speakers, kid-safe headphones, adventure kits, action cameras, flashlights, and more. The products are due to hit shelves at Toys “R” Us stores just in time for the film’s theatrical release beginning November 17.
