Amloid Celebrates 100 Years

Amloid Logo copyAmloid will celebrate its 100th anniversary this year.

In 1916, Amloid’s original visionaries first set up shop in a two-car garage across the road from a goat farm. The Albarelli family produced classic toys from the baby rattles they made before the Great Depression, to the first injection-molded sand pail produced in 1931.

With a new factory completed in 2009, Amloid has been progressively branching out to other toy categories. Ride-ons, play sets, and junior sports have become staples of Amloid, and its preschool construction category is growing with a focus on establishing a global brand presence with the introduction of Kids@Work.
