Atari x Arcade1Up

As the arcade resurgence continues, Atari and Arcade1Up are getting closer.

Since the launch of Tastemakers’ Arcade1Up 3/4-scale arcade cabinets last fall, the companies have collaborated on multiple titles, including Asteroids, Centipede, and the forthcoming Atari Star Wars. Today, Atari CEO Fred Chesnais and Tastemakers CEO Scott Bachrach revealed that their companies have entered into an exclusive partnership for the mid-size arcade cabinet category, which includes products in the 18- to 59-inch range.

“We’re excited to make this announcement which can be seen as the foundation for our continued, long term relationship,” Bachrach says. “Together, we want to ensure that the quality of gameplay and the arcade experience you remember is maintained and delivered in our existing and future product launches with Atari.”

Arcade1Up arcade cabinets are created in a size and format that allows both casual gamers and enthusiasts to fit multiple cabinets into their game rooms. Each cabinet includes multiple titles, with arcade-accurate controls and retro-styled artwork.
