Care Bears will celebrate National Care Bears #ShareYourCare day on Sept. 9. Fans are encouraged to participate all month long by completing one selfless, caring act every day of September in the #CareALotChallenge via @CareBears on Facebook and Twitter.
To commemorate the date, Care Bears has joined 13-year-old Jessica Carscadden of the We Care Bears Project for a special donation of 500 Care Bears plush toys to Spark of Love, helping reach hundreds of children. Care Bears, the We Care Bears Project, and Orange County firefighters from Spark of Love will attend the Festival of Children at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, Calif. Supervisor Michelle Steele of the Orange County Board of Supervisors will also present Carscadden with a proclamation from the County of Orange, Second District.
In addition, the Festival of Children Foundation has partnered with Care Bears and We Care Bears Project to invite shoppers to visit the South Coast Plaza from Sept. 10 to 11 to join the #ShareYourCare movement by donating a new plush item during the plush donation drive. Care Bears’ Share Bear will also welcome fans from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on both days.
Care Bears also aligned with more than 300 top-tier digital influencers, known as Care Bears Ambassadors, who have taken the Care Bears #ShareYourCare oath and will spread the news of the #CareALotChallenge.
