Harry

There’s a new lion hitting the global scene, and his name is Harry.

Harry, the new animated comedy adventure series, from Cosmos-Maya, will launch globally at MIPCOM, taking place Oct. 14-17 in Cannes, and the studio already secured some key distribution deals. Amazon Prime Video secured exclusive SVOD rights to stream Harry in India, while Cosmos-Maya says “a leading pay TV channel” secured rights for its channel in India and the Indian Subcontinent. Spectrum Film of Indonesia snagged rights for major territories in Southeast Asia.

“Children worldwide love anthropomorphic animal characters, and Harry sits alongside beloved favorites like Simba in The Lion King and Alex in Madagascar,” says series producer Anish Mehta, CEO, Cosmos-Maya. The character ensemble of the show is unique, and the organic narratives and catchy [musical] numbers make Harry a captivating watch. We are confident that kids the world over will love our Harry as well, as he entertains everyone with his antics while spreading the message of goodwill and fun!”

The first season of Harry includes 26 22-minute episodes. Made for kids ages 4-9, Cosmos-Maya will make Harry available in all major languages for a global audience. The series follows the titular Harry and his circus troupe friends in narratives that tackle friendship, joy, goodwill, race, gender, and nationality.
