The dandelion crayon is getting the boot from Crayola’s 24-box of crayons.

This is the first time Crayola is retiring a color from its iconic 24-box of crayons in the company’s 100 year history. Crayola made the announcement on Twitter this afternoon, citing the color’s adventurous spirit.

The company is celebrating National Crayon Day tomorrow, where it’s possible that it will also announce the replacement shade at an event in Times Square.

Consumers took to social media to express their opinions during Crayola’s #WhosLeaving campaign—some of whom are still recovering from Hasbro replacing three of their iconic tokens in the Monopoly game. Click here to see our favorite reactions.
