After a decade at Zinkia Entertainment, Luisa Ramírez is setting up shop at DeAPlaneta Entertainment as a franchise manager.
In her new role, Ramírez will focus on driving international growth and increasing the potential of the entertainment company’s extensive intellectual property (IP) portfolio. As brand manager at Zinkia, Ramírez led the expansion of products derived from the hit preschool series Pocoyó. More specifically, she managed the merchandising department and led the design and marketing teams, all while working closely on global marketing strategies to position and expand the property worldwide.
Of her new venture, Ramírez says, “After over a decade as brand manager for Pocoyó, I hope to use my knowledge to serve the DeAPlaneta Entertainment portfolio and support the national and international expansion of promising brands, such as Milo, The Three Musketeers, or Gus, the Itsy Bitsy Knight.”
DeAPlaneta Entertainment aims to develop powerful stories and toyetic content that goes far beyond the small screen for a universal audience, including kids’ brands Miraculous Ladybug, Milo, Gormiti, Heidi, and Maya the Bee. For more than 20 years, the company has acquired, produced, and distributed content ranging from feature films to live-action series, animation, and live performances.
