Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, her running mate U.S. Senator Tim Kaine from Virginia, and former President Bill Clinton made a campaign stop at the K’Nex factory in Hatfield, Penn. on Friday, July 29.

“It is an honor to have been part of American history and be one of the first stops on Hillary Clinton’s campaign tour. We had a productive discussion about the importance of American manufacturing, STEM/STEAM skills and the role the toy industry can play in inspiring children by creating products that allow children to learn through play, like K’Nex,” says Michael Araten, president and CEO of K’Nex.

According to Clinton’s campaign, she and Kaine were on a bus tour throughout the weekend from Pennsylvania to Ohio.

In 2012, President Obama visited the facility.
