Holgate Toys Recalls Wegmans Playmat Sets Due to Choking Hazard

WegmansPlaymatSetLARGEHolgate Toys has recalled its Wegmans Playmat Set. The wooden vehicles included in the set have wheels that can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children.

The toys were sold exclusively at Wegmans Food Stores from October 2012 to June 2013, at a cost of about $25. Each Wegmans Playmat Set included a 24-inch by 30-inch cotton canvas playmat. The wooden vehicles were a blue car, a red Wegmans delivery van, a green Wegmans farm tractor, and a yellow school bus.

Each packaged set featured the UPC code 0 7789028735 4 printed on the back.

Consumers may contact Holgate Toys toll-free at (855) 344-7488 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday, or search online at www.holgatetoy.com and click on “Product Recall” for more information.
