Less than one year after its launch, ICTI Care’s new Responsible Sourcing Platform (ICPS) is connecting more than 1,000 factories with toy brands and retailers worldwide, enabling data sharing on a broad range of social sustainability issues and ethical compliance data.
These connections are providing real time updates, downloadable audit reports, and detailed ICTI CARE certification information to brands and retailers across the global toy industry.
Toy factories use the ICPS platform to share audit data with multiple consumers, helping to drive efficiencies and reduce audit duplication and fatigue. In addition to accessing detailed online audit reports for existing ICTI CARE Certified factories, ICPS also provides an Ethical Sourcing Tool, which lets toy brands search ICTI CARE’s Global Factory Database for other certified toy factories. Users can search for new toy factories based on any number of criteria including product type, certification class, and location down to the provincial/state level. As global toy sourcing expands to the new markets of Vietnam, India, and Mexico, the Ethical Sourcing Tool provides buyers with up-to-the-minute certification status for purchasing decisions.
