ICTI Ethical Toy Program (IETP) is expanding its operations.

The responsible sourcing program for the toy industry appointed Todd Merton to the newly created position of Head of Business Development.

Merton joins the company from ECHL where he served as director of marketing and licensing for the East Coast’s premier AA hockey league. In that position, Merton developed strategic partnerships and licensing agreements with companies including Marvel, ViacomCBS, and Warner Bros. At IETP, Merton will work to strengthen and build relationships with program members while actively cultivating new members from the toy manufacturing, licensing, and retail categories.

“I’m excited about the opportunity to work with the world’s leading retailers, brands, and companies to ensure their products are being made in the most ethical manner and improving the lives of the workers responsible for that production,” Merton says.
