IMC Toys

Thanks to rapid growth, IMC Toys is opening a new Los Angeles office as the company gears up for new brand and product launches in the months ahead.

Following the successful launch of the international hit Cry Babies in the U.S., the stateside team grows with the appointment of Crystal Ganir (pictured top left) as director of marketing for IMC USA and Chelsea Wood (pictured top right) as senior sales manager. Ganir comes to IMC with more than 10 years of toy industry experience, previously serving as senior brand manager at Moose Toys, where she helped open the company’s first LA office and led the U.S. launch of Shopkins and Little Live Pets. Wood most recently managed e-commerce business for Gildan Apparel and previously was a key account manager for Schleich.

“2018 was a great launch for us and this year we plan to go even bigger! IMC has heavily invested in expanding its resources starting from a winning team to an office and showroom in LA, which will put us in the center of action in the toy space,” says Karen Branson, country manager for the U.S. and Canada, IMC Toys USA. “We are excited about the launch of our Cry Babies Magic Tears collectibles line and the expansion of our interactive baby dolls range. We are confident that consumers will love our new items this fall as we have gained great momentum and support from key retail partners entering the holiday season!”

Ganir will spearhead marketing and strategy development for IMC in North America as the company preps to bring new products to market. Wood looks to broaden and strengthen retail distribution for IMC in North America.
