Jakks Pacifc named Jared Wolfson as senior vice president of digital marketing and Studio JP, effective Jan. 2. In the newly created position, Jared will develop, launch, expand, and manage Jakks Pacific’s portfolio of properties digital footprint, as well as lead Studio JP, a division that develops original, multiplatform, computer-generated animated content, in a joint venture with China’s Meisheng Cultural & Creative Corp.’s animation studio
Jared Wolfson has been a leader in the kids and family entertainment industry for more than 15 years. He has developed, produced, and distributed animated entertainment content to broadcast partners, including Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, and Netflix, and has overseen the marketing and distribution of licensed consumer products businesses with studios, networks, IP owners, and international partners including Disney, Nickelodeon, Lucas, Marvel, DC, and Sony.
