Jakks Pacific Inc. and Black+Decker will continue building fun together.

For more than 16 years, Jakks Pacific has been a Black+Decker toy partner, and thanks to a newly inked contract extension that will continue in the years ahead. Jakks and Black+Decker extended their North American licensing partnership with an agreement that allows the continued design and production of toy tool sets, workbenches, housewares, and kitchen products for kids in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

“During quarantine, we’ve seen an even greater focus on and success of basic roleplay toys,” says Craig Drobis, senior vice president of marketing at Jakks Pacific. “Our Black+Decker line has been no exception. Children want to emulate what they see their parents do at home. With families doing home improvements using the real Black+Decker tools, kids are even more eager to imagine their own improvement projects with the toy Black+Decker tools.”
