Generation Alpha is growing up in a strange time in history. At Women in Toys‘ upcoming WIT Launch: Innovation Summit, Jess Weiner will discuss how this affects the way we’ll play in the future.

Weiner, CEO and Culture Expert, will headline the virtual conference on Oct. 5 with her keynote address, Meet the Activist Toddler. She’ll contextualize current trends and insights, and detail on how parents are creating a generation of activists, multi-hyphenates, and emotionally intelligent people. Virtual attendees will also be able to join in on the conversation with a Q&A to take place after her address.

Weiner was part of the team that helped reimagine Barbie’s body at Mattel in 2016 and launched Dove’s Real Beauty Campain in 2006. She has long been an expert on representation in media, marketing, products, and in the workforce.

WIT Launch: Innovation Summit will also feature live, interactive panels, and workshops with which attendees will learn about the toy industry from professionals. Learn more about it here.

As a kid, Nicole either wanted to be a professional toy player-wither or a writer. Somehow, as social media editor for The Toy Insider, The Toy Book, and The Pop Insider, she’s found a career as both. She's grateful to work somewhere that she can fully embrace both her love of teddy bears and her admiration for the Oxford comma. When she's not playing with toys at work, she's playing with her baby girl at home.
