Following the success of the recently released Halloween and Holiday squads, 17 new characters will join Kellytoy’s Squishmallows collection.
The latest members of the #SquishmallowsSquad are hitting retail just in time for the holiday season, and as always, they’re available in 5-inch, 8-inch, 12-inch, and 16-inch sizes.
“We are delighted to welcome Avery, Lucia, Kirk, Skyler, Tracy, and all their new friends into the Squishmallows fold,” says Kellytoy CEO Jonathan Kelly. “Just like our original squad members, these are bursting with personality and make great couch pals, pillows, bedtime buddies and travel companions — they’ll go anywhere with you.”
Each member of the squad features a unique personality and backstory presented on its hangtag.
New Squishmallows Squad Members include:
- Avery, the rugby-loving mallard duck;
- Mateo, the most lovable Rottweiler on the planet;
- Lucia, the pink lemur;
- Kirk, the koala;
- Kacye, a soccer-coaching pandacorn;
- Sofia, a white unicorn with a rainbow belly;
- Ilene, a pink unicorn who also happens to be a Broadway star;
- Paco, the soccer-playing parrot.
- Misty, a mouse;
- Violet, the lavender octopus;
- Dexter, a “fierce” green dragon;
- Stacy, a shy squid;
- Skyler, the gardening skunk;
- Miles, a teal dragon;
- Silvia, a purple unicorn;
- Keeley, the kangaroo;
- and Tracy, a zebra with hot pink hair who loves to race anything on wheels.
Kellytoy is already looking beyond the holidays and into trade show and toy fair season. The company will show off its latest Squishmallows at the Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Market from Jan. 15-19 (booth No. 1300), and at Toy Fair New York from Feb. 22-25 (booths 1376 & 6647).
