LeapFrog Enterprises Inc. will release three new preschool toys—the Number Lovin’ Oven and Scout’s Build & Discover Tool Set, which offer pretend play experiences that teach math and measurement, respectively—and the Word Whammer, a phonics game that prepares children for kindergarten in an active way.
The Number Lovin’ Oven integrates cooking concepts with numbers and early math skills; it talks and sings through more than 30 songs and phrases, as well as 16 ingredients. Scout’s Build & Discover Tool Set lets toddlers interact with LeapFrog’s Scout as he introduces them to their first step-by-step building project through counting, measuring, and color matching. Word Whammer get kids spinning, pushing, and twisting on its handles to identify letters and build words. It features three games and five learning levels that adapt as children play.
All three toys will be available at retail and online in the U.S. in early August.
