MGA Entertainment‘s Little Tikes brand earned high honors at The Prize Awards for Public Relations Excellence in Italy.
The awards, sponsored and created by the Association of the United Communication (UNA), recognize excellence in Public Relations across many industries in Italy. The Little Tikes “Esci Fiori. Cresci Dentro!” program received the superior achievement in brand-building award and two gold medals in entertainment and non-food mass market categories.
“Esci Fiori. Cresci Dentro!” translates to “Go outside. Grow inside,” and is part of MGA’s larger campaign to promote the importance of active play. The program features three initiatives: “Esci fuori. Cresci dentro,” “Gioca Per Bene,” and “Scendi in Cortile.” The first is Active Play Tips, which includes 10 principles on the importance of play to outline this approach to play and life. The second area is Play for Good, the creative social fundraising activity in collaboration with non-profit organization Fondazione Arché. The third activity is Come Down to the Courtyard, an effort to bring play to local communities and make more accessible play spaces.
