MGA Entertainment Inc. (MGAE) is suing hundreds of counterfeiters worldwide to stop the production of fake L.O.L. Surprise toys. Currently the No. 1 toy in United States, L.O.L. Surprise! is one hottest toys of the holiday season. MGAE is committed to protecting its intellectual property and brand, and taking legal action in multiple countries to prevent counterfeit toys from reaching the market.

MGA Entertainment is committed to doing everything possible to protect consumers and L.O.L. Surprise fans, and continues to raise awareness about the risk in buying fake toys. Counterfeit toys do not undergo the rigorous testing of official toys and may be harmful to children Parents should be know how to identify real versus fake toys, to ensure a safe play experience.

MGAE shared tips for consumers earlier this year as to spotting fake L.O.L. Surprise toys. Consumers should look for “MGA Entertainment, Inc.” or “MGA” on the outside packaging, and find the official name on the product as “L.O.L. Surprise!. As an added measure, consumers should only purchase products from trusted retailers and websites, and compare the packaging, colors, and description to authentic L.O.L. Surprise! products.
