Moose Toys Becomes No. 4 Largest Toy Company in U.S.

ShopkinsLifestyleMoose Toys ranks fourth among toy manufacturers in the U.S., according to data from The NPD Group Retail Tracking Service. The data is based on dollar sales of toys from January through March of this year. The company’s growth is boosted by sales of its Shopkins collectible brand.

In March, Moose’s Shopkins 2-Pack and 12-Pack were the top two products in the overall toy market, placing first and second best-selling toys respectively, according to data from NPD. Shopkins products also claimed five of the top 20 positions in total toy sales, and is the No. 2 toy property in the U.S., year to date. Shopkins Season 5 hits U.S. retail stores this week, and the online reveal campaign drew more than 4 million views of its video series in less than one week.

Mattel continues to be the largest corporate manufacturer in the U.S. from January though March, according to the data, followed by Hasbro, the Lego Group, and Moose.
