The fourth Kids India 2016 convention was held from September 15 to 17. There were more than 5,000 trade visitors, in addition to 150 national and international companies representing 350 brands. The B2B fair took place at the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Center.
Discussions on various issues relevant to the industry such as “Toy Safety Standards in India,” “3-D Printing Solutions for the Toy Industry,” and “Trends in the International Market” were covered as part of the various seminars and workshops at the fair. One of the latest trends observed globally is how new technologies are being combined with classic toys. Other topics covered through the seminar and workshop program included “Making Licensing Opportunities Work for Licensees“ and “The Serious Business of Child’s Play.”
The show received support from the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Sports Goods Export Promotions Council, and The All India Toy Manufacturer’s Association. Next year’s Kids India will take place from Sept. 20 to 22 in Mumbai.
