My First Hess Truck 2020 Fire Truck

For the first time since the debut of the Hess Toy Truck in 1964, Hess Corp. is releasing a toy geared toward the youngest of fans.

My First Hess Truck launches today with the 2020 Fire Truck, the inaugural offering in what is expected to be a yearly release.

Hess brings the same level of design and production that it’s known for in its annual holiday and summer trucks into the infant and toddler space with a soft fire truck that includes lights and sounds, but also has some collector flair.

Kids can press the Hess logo on the hood to enjoy 11 flashing LED lights and two complete songs: “The Wheels on the Bus” and “If You’re Happy and You Know It.” The ladder on the back of the truck doubles as a handle and the truck includes Energizer batteries installed in a padded compartment. When kids squeeze the space between the lights on the top of the cab, the truck will illuminate in a soft glow for use as a nightlight with a 15-minute automatic shut off.

The 2020 Fire Truck comes packed in a cardboard box with no wasteful packaging, plastic bags, or fasteners. The included hangtag serves as a gift tag and “driver’s license” that adults can fill out.

The limited-edition My First Hess Truck is available exclusively at hesstoytruck.com while supplies last.
