Spielwarenmesse eG will showcase model construction products designed for every age group and experience level in the PowerLounge in Hall 7A. The trade show will take place from Jan. 27 to Feb 1. Spielwarenmesse encourages specialty toy retailers seeking models from the hobby segment to stop by and see the new items.
In addition to traditional model construction, there are more high-tech devices in the category than ever before. Quadcopters and drones have recently been the defining product group in the category and is expected to grow. There is also is a steady, constantly growing licensing market in the model category, in particular Star Wars. This trend is opening up a new, younger target group for the industry, giving an incentive for specialty retailers to expand their product lines.
In addition to displays, showcases, and multimedia presentations of model construction suppliers, the PowerLounge will also offer charging points for mobile devices, drinks, and snacks.
