Radio Flyer Celebrates 100th Anniversary

Screen Shot 2017-03-21 at 3.18.10 PMRadio Flyer launched a digital ad campaign in honor of the company’s 100th anniversary.

The campaign started with the company’s first-ever travel agency for kids, which opened for one day on March 18 in Chicago. The travel agency let kids imagine destinations that can only be reached with Radio Flyer vehicles.

The company will also celebrate Little Red Wagon Day on March 29, celebrated annually on the last Wednesday of March. The day honors the original little red wagon, and fans can join in to celebrate by sharing pictures of their wagon or any other Radio Flyer ride with #LittleRedWagonDay and #RadioFlyer100.

To top it off, the company recently refurbished its refurbished the World’s Largest Wagon. Originally created for its 80th anniversary celebration, the wagon was inspired by the 45 foot tall “Coaster Boy” model, the Radio Flyer hit of the 1933 World’s Fair. This summer, Radio Flyer will roll the World’s Largest Wagon to Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago.
