Toy_Industry_Association_Inc_logoRegistration is open for the Toy Industry Association’s (TIA) annual Toy Fair Credit Meeting, scheduled to take place on February 17 at the Affinia Manhattan Hotel in New York City.

An exclusive forum for TIA member manufacturers, the Toy Fair Credit Meeting offers trade information and educational and networking opportunities for credit, finance, and operations professionals. Through discussions and workshops, industry experts, major retailers, and fellow participants of the TIA Credit Interchange program will share knowledge from across the toy industry.

The Toy Fair Credit Meeting will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will cover the following topics:

  • Review of key accounts, followed by discussion on individual accounts with Anna Velez, Bandai, chair of TIA Credit Committee, and Colleen Veilleux, Wicked Cool Toys, chair of TIA Credit Committee, northeast chapter
  • Lunch with Toys “R” Us and JP Morgan guests, with Doug Mankovich, manager, vendor performance (Toys “R” Us) and Janet Wiener, executive director, credit trading and Margaret L. “Maggie” Moosbrugger, vice president, credit trading (JP Morgan)
  • Credit risk analyses for key accounts presented by Dennis Cantalupo, COO, creditintell.com
  • Challenges of current credit & collection environment workshop for credit managers, moderated by Anna Velez, Bandai, chair, TIA Credit Committee
  • Beyond Credit workshop for senior finance and operations executives, moderated by Paul Vitale, senior vice-president, finance & operations, TIA
  • Barnes & Noble company update presented by Kathleen Campisano, vice president, toys & games, Barnes & Noble
  • Bankruptcy code reform and its impact on trade creditors, presented by Jason Torf, Esq., partner, Horwood Marcus & Berk

Registration for the Toy Fair Credit Meeting will remain open through February 10, 2015. The meeting is open exclusively to TIA member manufacturer participants of the TIA Credit Interchange Program.
