Sakar to Introduce New Sesame Street, Nickelodeon, and Peanuts Electronics

Sesame StreetUnder a new licensing deal with Sesame Workshop, Sakar International will launch a new line of Sesame Street electronic products and accessories this spring. The company will preview the new line at the North American International Toy Fair in New York City.

SakarIntlThe new Sesame Street products are intended to appeal to a broad range of Sesame Street fans, from children to teens and adults. They include a microphone stand with a built-in slot to hold an iPod or MP3 player; molded karaoke machines designed after Elmo and other favorite characters; kids-safe volume-limiting headphones; a range of functional, child-sized musical instruments, including guitars and keyboards; and portable speakers, ear buds, USB drives, and phone and tablet cases.

As part of a deal renewing its Nickelodeon license, Sakar will be launching new lines of products based on Dora and Friends, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles this spring. The lineup will include a Dora and Friends clock radio-molded Bluetooth speaker and password journal, SpongeBob SquarePants molded karaoke machines, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action cameras, and more.

Sakar has also signed a licensing deal with Peanuts Worldwide for products with both Peanuts Classic styling, as well as updated designs based on the new feature film. The lineup will include Camelio Personality Kits featuring a bumper case and more; and youth toys and electronics such as flashlights, walkie-talkies, and sing-a-long portable karaoke devices.
