Schleich USA Brings Canadian Operations In-House

Schleich

Beginning Jan. 1, Schleich USA will service Canadian customers directly from its North American warehouse in Charlotte, North Carolina.

For the past two years, Canadian customers have been served by Everest Toys, which will continue shipping orders through the end of the year including all of Schleich’s 2020 products and holiday drivers.

“Schleich is a strong brand in the Canadian market and we’re thrilled to be able to service all of our customers directly again,” says Annie Laurie Zomermaand, chief commercial officer, Schleich USA. “Everest has been a wonderful partner. But, as we continue to grow, this is a natural next step toward global alignment.”

The Canadian business will be managed by Carly Little, national account manager at Schleich. She has been building relationships with the company’s Canadian partners for the past two years.

Last year, U.S. retailer FYE was purchased by Doug Putman, president of Everest Toys.
