Ann Kearns, vice president of licensing at Sesame Workshop, has been added to the Content Connection roster of speakers. The Toy Industry Association’s (TIA) Content Connection will take place February 10 to 11 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
Speaking on a panel titled “Lessons in Licensing,” Kearns will share her knowledge about the field, including business practices and royalty benchmarks to jump-start attendees’ licensing education. An industry veteran who is responsible for developing and managing the licensing categories of toys and several other product types, Kearns works with Hasbro, Disguise, Jakks Pacific, Gund, Spin Master, Sea World & Busch Gardens parks, and more.
Additional speakers who have recently joined the program include Susan Miller, founding partner of Cupcake Digital, Mixed Media Group, and Bolder Media, who will speak in a session called “Growing the Preschool Market” that will tackle apps-usage among preschoolers; and James Slifer, senior vice president at The Joester Loria Group, who will partake in a panel called “Hiring a Licensing Agent or Consultant.”
