Chilly Christmas Is Set To Warm the Hearts of Audiences This Holiday Season
You better watch out, Rudolph… a new four-legged hero is coming to town…! Chilly Christmas, a new feature film releasing on DVD on November 6 will deliver a sleigh-load of fun for audiences of all ages. From Anchor Bay, the film features C. Thomas Howell, Brooke Langton, and Tom Arnold.
Chilly Christmas, produced by Steven Paul, follows 11-year-old Bobby Cole, his detective dad, and their lovable-but-destructive pooch, Chilly, who live together in Sunshine Beach, Calif. When Bobby’s father is offered a job promotion in New York City, Bobby is thrilled for him–but his excitement quickly turns to heartbreak when he realizes he may have to say goodbye to Chilly, who is too rambunctious to live in a tiny city apartment. While the Coles prepare Chilly for the Big Apple, trouble begins brewing in their own backyard when a dog-napper and his crew suddenly show up in Sunshine Beach, hot on Chilly’s tail. It’s up to Detective Cole, Bobby, and Chilly to stop the thieves in their tracks and keep their family together.

Anchor Bay Releases Wow! Wow! Wubbzy Compilation DVD
Anchor Bay Entertainment has announced the release of Best of Wubbzy: Fan’s Choice. For the first time, Wow! Wow! Wubbzy fans will be able to watch their favorite episodes on DVD. Episodes were compiled based on votes from the series’ Facebook fans.
The DVD features six episodes, including Follow The Leader, The Wubbzy Shuffle, Wubbzy the Star, Tooth or Dare, Wubbzy’s Makeover, and Wubbzy Bounces Back, and a bonus seventh episode, Wubbzy the Hero.
Viewers can sing, dance, and learn with the help of Wubbzy. Since its television debut on Nickelodeon in 2006, the show has taught children skills such as sharing, listening, compromising, helping and appreciating others, self-awareness, and the use of humor as a coping skill. Throughout the course of the series, Wubbzy and friends learn how to fit into a group, understand their own feelings and those of others, and get along with one another, as well as important lessons about the value of friendship and community.

Titled Wilson and The Ice Cream Fair, the new episode follows Wilson as he makes his way through the busiest day of the year. Between a special delivery, creating a new ice cream flavor, and preventing a massive ice cream meltdown, Wilson has a lot to do. Will he get it done?

First Anchor Bay Chuggington DVD to Release February 8
Anchor Bay Entertainment, who recently secured the U.S. DVD rights to Ludorum’s Chuggington property, has announced that its first Chuggington release will hit retail stores nationwide on February 8.
The DVD, Let’s Ride the Rails, will introduce preschoolers to the world of Chuggington with six exploration episodes. Lessons taught in the episodes (such as “Clunky Wilson” and “Old Puffer Pete’s Tour”) will include humility, trust, respect, and teamwork. The DVD will also include special bonuses such as Chuggington-themed coloring pages and activity sheets.
More DVDs will release throughout 2011, including Chuggers to the Rescue, It’s Training Time, and Wheels To The Rails. Episodes of the series also debuted on iTunes last month.
Anchor Bay to Distribute Chuggington DVDs in U.S.
Anchor Bay Entertainment has acquired U.S. distribution rights to Ludorum’s Chuggington preschool series. Anchor Bay will distribute Chuggington DVDs to both brick and mortar stores and online retailers starting early next year.
Chuggington airs six days a week on Playhouse Disney. The show follows the adventures of three young “trainees” as they learn about life in the train yard and in the world.
Chuggington is broadcast in 175 territories worldwide and premiered in the U.S. in January. Bill Clark and Julie Cartwright negotiated this deal for Anchor Bay Entertainment.
