Sophia’s has introduced its Adopt-A-Pet series, consisting of plush pets sized for 18-inch doll play. The Adopt-A-Pet series was created by Sophia’s in honor of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), and provides families with the opportunity to combine interpretive, 18-inch doll play with teaching children an important lesson about pet rescue and philanthropy.
The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) entered into an agreement with Commonwealth Toy & Novelty Co. Inc. to develop a line of plush toys and accessories. The line will aim to replicate the experience of adopting a shelter pet, bringing the ASPCA’s mission to a new generation of animal advocates. The line is set to launch by the end of the year.
Commonwealth Toy & Novelty Co. Inc. joins a robust roster of ASPCA licensees including Firestar Diamond Inc., American Greetings Corporation, Eyewear Inventions LLC, European Home Design Inc., and Williams-Sonoma Inc.’s PBTeen and West Elm brands.
Ubisoft is teaming up with the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) and pop band Honor Society for the launch of new Petz games and Sharing and Caring Month. The new video games for Nintendo DS will allow users to care for their virtual “petz” and send them to other Petz games via wireless interconnectivity.
