After browsing the sections, parents can add safety items to their Babiesrus.com shopping cart or print out safety product information as a checklist when shopping in-store.

In anticipation of the holiday season, Toys “R” Us (TRU), Inc., announced today its Christmas Savers Club program, which can help members start saving for holiday gifts. After adding as little as $1 during registration, members of the free program receive a card that acts as a pseudo-savings account for future Toys “R” Us and Babies “R” Us purchases.

Funds added to the card, which has a cap of $2,500 each, can also earn a one-time, 3-percent bonus if added to the card before Oct. 16. With this bonus, a card with the maximum amount of funds can be awarded an additional $75. The card may be used after the holiday season; however, the 3-percent bonus is only granted once. Lost cards can be replaced if either the card number or deposit receipts are available. The initial registration packet includes a pouch for storing receipts.

Users can register for the Club at any TRU and Toys “R” Us Express store in the U.S., and members can add money to the card at registers. All TRU and Babies “R” Us stores in the U.S. and Puerto Rico are participating in the program, as well as Toysrus.com and Babiesrus.com.

The card cannot be redeemed at the stores until Oct. 31 and beyond (although withdrawal from the program may be available by calling Guest Services at 1-800-TOYRUS).

To find a TRU retail location nearest you, or find out more details of the program, visit ToysRUs.com.

Toys “R” Us, Inc. has launched its 2010 Bundled in Hope campaign benefiting Save the Children, a global humanitarian agency working to assist children in the U.S. and around the world. To kick off the campaign, the Toys “R” Us Children’s Fund donated a $250,000 grant to Save the Children.

Now through July 11, all donations made at Toys “R” Us and Babies “R” Us stores nationwide and online at Toysrus.com/BundledinHope will be given to Save the Children’s U.S. Programs, which help to purchase blankets and provide support for babies in need across the country.

The 2010 Bundled in Hope fundraising program includes an online auction of 10 baby blankets, specially designed by celebrity moms such as Laila Ali, Joely Fisher, Faith Hill, Regina King, Idina Menzel, and Kelly Rutherford. The bidding starts on Mother’s Day (May 9) at Toysrus.com/BundledinHope, with the last blanket being auctioned on July 11. All of the proceeds will be directed to Save the Children’s U.S. Programs.

Additionally, Toys “R” Us and Babies “R” Us customers can add “Save the Children” to their new or existing baby registries, which will allow the registrant’s family and friends to donate specific dollar amounts to Bundled in Hope in lieu of or in addition to gifts. Fundraising can be continued throughout the life of the registry.

In 2009, the Bundled in Hope campaign raised more than $1 million, allowing Save the Children to purchase thousands of blankets for underprivileged infants in homes and hospitals across the country, as well as help to provide basic services for their growth.
