Zazoo Kids Creates Two New Photo Clocks

Zazoo Kids has expanded its Photo Clock collection by adding two new styles for a total of seven clocks. Parents can download personalized images for mornings, nights, special occasions, and holidays. The clocks tell children can’t read a clock yet when to go to bed, stay in bed, or start the day.

The photo clocks come with pre-programmed awake and asleep images. Parents can also personalize their child’s photo clock with personal digital photos. The clock features a rotating photo frame, an alarm clock, video, music, an audio book, and a calendar. It also comes with 11 children’s songs from artists including Milkshake and Little Miss Ann.

The Zazoo Photo Clock can be purchased online at www.zazookids.com, www.csn.com, www.brookstone.com. www.bestbuy.com, www.buybuybaby.com, and kids.discovery.com and found in select retail stores.

Activision to Sell Limited Edition Dog Tags to Benefit the Call of Duty Endowment

It’s time to get tagged! Activision Publishing, Inc. has announced the sale of limited edition dog tags that will benefit the Call of Duty Endowment, a non-profit that helps veterans find jobs by assisting organizations that provide job placement and training services for veterans.

The dog tags will be available throughout the holiday season in more than 12,000 stores across the country including GameStop, Walmart, Toys “R” Us, Best Buy, and Target.

Customers will find the dog tags in dedicated Call of Duty sections and counter displays. Activision will be donating proceeds from the sales of the dog tags to the Call of Duty Endowment.

Report: Target Has the Best Social Media Presence Among Retailers

According to a new survey by L.E.K. Consulting, as reported by Internet Retailer, Target Corp. has the best social media presence among retailers. Target took the top spot with 8.5 percent, followed by Amazon.com (8 percent), Walmart (5.4 percent), Best Buy (4 percent), and Macy’s (4 percent). L.E.K surveyed 2,000 U.S. consumers, but did not say when the survey took place or define what constituted a strong social media presence.

Zynga Introduces FarmVille Plush Toys

Zynga, the world’s largest social game company, is introducing a line of FarmVille collectible plush toy game critters. A first for Zynga, these limited-edition toys are available now, exclusively at Best Buy.

The FarmVille plush is available for 99 cents with the purchase of a $25 game card or by itself for $9.99. Each purchase comes with a collectible “blind” barn-box that houses a surprise FarmVille animal decked in winter garb, 10 free Farm Cash redeemable for virtual items, and an exclusive in-game version of the plush toy. Players who fill their farm with eight animals receive a bonus, in-game Super Orchard.
