K’NEX Brands has introduced Mighty Makers, a line of construction toys designed to empower girls through creative and stimulating building ideas. Created by an all-female marketing and design team, the Mighty Makers building set line encourages girls ages 7 and up.
K’nex Brands, the only U.S. construction toy company focused on Building Worlds Kids Love, is proud to announce that for the sixth year in a row it will donate a percentage of online sales to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA), a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to finding the cure for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
Now through April 30, 10 percent of all online sales made on www.knex.com will be donated to the CCFA. Donations are accepted with or without making a purchase.
In addition, a team of K’nex employees will be participating in the Take Steps for Crohn’s & Colitis walk in Philadelphia. These events take place at 158 walk sites across the country, where thousands of people gather every spring and summer to join the fight against digestive diseases. K’NEX Brands, the only U.S. construction toy company focused on Building Worlds Kids Love, will participate in the Philadelphia Eagles Flight Night, an evening of family friendly fun hosted by the Philadelphia Eagles, to benefit the Eagles Youth Partnership. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday, August 26. In addition to watching the entire Eagles team practice, there are loads of games, prizes, and surprises, including the K’NEX tent for fun and games. The K’NEX tent will showcase the K’NEX Angry Birds line of building sets and will feature building stations where children can build, play, and launch their favorite characters from the popular app through goal posts.
The K’NEX tent will be part of the free kids’ area in the Interactive Zone. At the event, kids will have an opportunity to win signed Eagles items in the Super Bowl Grab Bag Game, check out collectible Eagles memorabilia at the Wives Yard Sale, see SWOOP and the Eagles cheerleaders, and participate in random prize giveaways such as the “Off Our Backs” instant player jersey giveaway, and witness an actual team practice on the field complete with an awesome laser show finale.
