ChizComm Partners with Yvolution’s NEON

chizChizComm Ltd. rolls out a new partnership with NEON from Yvolution. Starting today, ChizComm will lead PR and marketing efforts for Yvolution’s NEON brand of LED shoes, rollers, skateboards, scooters in North America.

From scooters to skateboards to heel wheels, the NEON brand combines rides and LED lights with street fashion, giving kids the chance to choose how and what they want to ride. A full line-up of ride-ons will roll into major retailers this holiday season.

Donna MacNeil Appointed Vice President of Marketing at ChizComm

chizDonna MacNeil joins the ChizComm Ltd. team as its new vice president of marketing. Her roles in the position go into effect immediately.

MacNeil has experience in publishing, toys, and entertainment, and will add new executive leadership to the ChizComm team. Previously she worked at marblemedia, a company joining ChizComm’s roster of entertainment clients.

Kidz Toyz Launches Mini Mojis

PrintKidz Toyz Inc. will release a Mini Mojis line, featuring collectible expressible characters and play sets, which bring the world of emojis off screens. The first glimpse of the line, featuring Nooky Poo, Pucker Up, Farah Featherwings, Love-Lee, and Sara Beara, and more will be on display at the North American International Toy Fair at booth 1D105.

The release of the line plays on the popular emoji trend, with 92 percent of the world using emojis and more than 6 billion sent daily. From 2015 to 2016, emoji use increased by 800 percent.

The Mini Mojis collection includes more than 100 small figures, varying by category and level of rarity. The whole line features Mini Mojis blind bags, 6-packs, 12-packs, the Ferris Wheel and Roller Coaster set, and Treehouse Playground.

Harold Chizick Elected to Board of Directors for CTA

Harold Chizick, president of ChizComm Ltd. was elected to the Board of Directors for the Canadian Toy Association (CTA) at their Annual General Meeting on June 29 in Toronto.

Chizick brings nearly 20 years of experience in working in the kids space, as well as serving on a number of Toy Industry Association (TIA) committees in addition to having spent for years as one of the Official Spokespersons for the CTA. Previous to the creation of ChizComm Ltd., Chizick was vice president of marketing services at Spin Master Ltd. and Vice President of Marketing at Mega Brands.
