Entertainment One Expands U.S. Licensee List for Peppa Pig

MH-PEPPIG-10Entertainment One has signed new licensee deals with Colorforms, Fab/Starpoint, Galerie USA, Kurt Adler, Marmont Hill, Montco, and Parragon. Additionally, Jazwares has expanded its Peppa Pig range with new plush, playsets, and figures. Among the new offerings from Jazwares is the Muddy Puddles Family Pack and Peppa Pig’s Picnic Trip (with Red Car) and House Construction Set.

Colorforms has been signed for re-stickable activity sets; Fab/Starpoint for ceramics; Galerie USA for chocolates; Marmont Hill for printed artwork; Montco for corrugated arts and crafts; and Parragon for coloring and activity books.

Women in Toys Announces Nominees for 12 Annual Wonder Women Awards

Game Changer Stylist Micaela Erlanger and Positive Body Image Advocate and Supermodel EMME will be present WIT’s Game Changer Award to Mattel. eOne Names Just Play as Global Master Toy Partner for PJ Masks

PJMasksEntertainment One has appointed Just Play LLC as global master toy partner for its TV series, PJ Masks, in response to growing consumer demand from families across the U.S. The debut range of toys and playthings from Just Play based on the superhero-themed show will launch at retail in the U.S. this fall and then roll out to international territories next year. Peppa Pig’s Big Splash Adds 100 Performances

eOne Launches Peppa Pig Imagine with Peppa UK Marketing Initiative

Jan26.PeppaPigEntertainment One Licensing (eOne) will be hosting Peppa Pig storytelling sessions at the Children’s Bath Literary Festival in the UK on October 3, in partnership with eOne’s master publishing partner, Ladybird Books. There will be costume character meet and greets, as well as narration of the Ladybird book, The Big Tale of Little Peppa, to coincide with the licensor’s digital marketing activity for the brand’s Imagine with Peppa theme.

Peppa Pig to Make a Big Splash in First-Ever U.S. Live Theatrical Tour

Jan26.PeppaPigEntertainment One’s Peppa Pig is hitting the road for her first-ever U.S. theatrical tour, Peppa Pig’s Big Splash. The live stage show will visit 23 East Coast cities this November and December, including Washington D.C., Pittsburgh, and Boston. A second leg will take Peppa to additional U.S. cities next year.

Brazilian Customs Seizes One Million Fake Peppa Pig Toys

Jan26.PeppaPigBrazilian customs authorities have seized an estimated one million counterfeit Peppa Pig toys at ports across the country. The products arrived in three Brazilian ports via seven separate importers. Entertainment One Launches Peppa Pig Magazine, Expands U.S. Toy Program

PeppaPigMagEntertainment One Licensing (eOne Licensing) has partnered with Redan Publishing Inc. for a bi-monthly publication based on Peppa Pig. Fun To Learn Peppa Pig Magazine will launch this month at major retailers throughout the U.S., including Wal-Mart, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, and Kroger.

Based on the animated TV show airing daily on Nick Jr., Fun To Learn Peppa Pig Magazine, for children ages 2 to 7, showcases the adventurous and loveable little pig along with her brother George, Mummy Pig, and Daddy Pig. Every issue will feature 36 pages of Peppa-themed activities designed to reinforce early learning skills as well as fun and inventive crafts projects, puzzles, product giveaways, and more.

In addition, a host of new licensed products are slated to make their retail debut in the spring. Better Toyz will offer a range of licensed sporting goods, including ball pits and tents, play balls, skates, scooters, kiddie pools, and skateboards. Fiesta Toys will produce an assortment of Peppa Pig plush and toys for the amusement park channel, from plush novelty hats and peek-a-boo pillows to Rolley bags and backpacks.
