Famosa Introduces New Pinypon and Nenuco Products

PinyPonFamosa has created three new play sets for the spring season, all suitable for kids ages 3 and up. The Pinypon AquaPark Adventure features a working water slide, a jacuzzi that makes bubbles, and a lazy river ride with a wave maker and inner tubes. The set also comes with a rare curly haired PinyPon that changes color in the water. The AquaPark Adventure is available on amazon.com and in stores.

The Nenuco Bath Time play set includes a soft-bodied doll with fast dry material, specifically made for fun in the bathtub. It also comes with bath toys and an inner tube. The product is on sale nationwide, including at Toys “R” Us and amazon.com. The Nenuco Let’s Play School play set comes with a doll dressed in a school theme complete with lesson plans, a desk for the doll, and matching teacher and doll glasses. It is for sale at walmart.com, amazon.com, and both national chains and online.

Famosa Launches Range Rover Ride-On

Range Rover Ride-OnEuropean toy company, Famosa, has launched its new Range Rover Sport 12-Volt Ride-On vehicle modeled after the Land Rover SUV. This new luxury ride-on is available exclusively at Toys “R” Us and is a part of the Feber brand, which is known for its lineup for quality indoor and outdoor products, activities, and games.

Besides just looking stylish, the Range Rover Ride-On has a ton of awesome features: Kids can connect an iPod of MP3 player to the speaker jack and blast their favorite songs through the speakers; rev up the engine, honk the horn, and open and close the doors; drive safely at 4.5 mph by shifting into gear and pressing the foot pedal to travel forwards or backwards; and take advantage of the two-seater’s cup holders, cool tailpipes, and big tires.

Designed for kids ages 3 and up, the Range Rover Ride-On will keep kids engaged in hours of active play.

Fall Toy Preview Sees Increases in Total Attendance and Global Participation

More than 700 buyers from around the world attended the Toy Industry Association’s Fall Toy Preview 2012 in Dallas. This is a 3 percent increase in total buyers who attended to look at the new toys and games for Holiday 2013. A 10 percent increase in foreign buyers was also noted.  The top five foreign countries represented by buyers were Canada, the UK, Mexico, Australia, and Hong Kong. Roughly 348 companies exhibited their latest product lines, including Alexander Doll Company, American Plastic Toys, Famosa, Hape, Inc., Melissa and Doug, Playmobil, Ohio Art, Blip Toys, Safari Ltd., and Razor USA. In sponsorship with Techno Source and presented by Carlin West Agency/NFL Rush Zone, the opening night party for the event raised funds for the Toy Industry Foundation and allowed participants to meet with Dallas Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware.

Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy Collection

Aurora’s Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy Collection, based on the dolls originally created by Johhn Gruelle in 1918 for his daughter, features dolls in four different sized—eight, 12, 16, and 25 inches. Each features yarn hair with the classic loop style and has “I Love You” embroidered on the chest. Larger dolls have plastic eyes, while the smaller dolls have embroidered eyes.
