Rashti & Rashti has acquired Prestige Toy Corporation, a producer of infant plush toy products. Along with the Prestige brand, Rashti & Rashti has obtained several licenses for plush through the deal, including Elf on a Shelf, Fisher Price, Sesame Street, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, and both Garanimals and Grin and Grow, which are exclusive to Wal-Mart.
Prestige Toy Corp. has been picked to develop a line of infant soft toys for the Garanimals brand. The new soft toy line will feature the same Garanimals characters, and will coordinate with Garanimals newborn and infant apparel, allowing gift givers to purchase an array of merchandise.
The new line by Prestige will include 30 different items that are geared towards boys and girls, with a selection of the toys to be gender neutral. The line will launch at retail later this year.
This summer, Garanimals will debut a new array of infant plush exclusively at Walmart. Inspired by the Garanimals newborn and infant apparel, the collection will include 28 soft, cuddly, and cute plush items available in a variety of colors and prints for boys and girls, as well as gender-neutral options. Prices range from $5-$12.
At Walmart in June, Garanimals is also introducing a wide-range of toys and accessories for infants through age 2, including activity gyms, crib mirrors, finger puppets, mini o-balls, rattles, soft squeakers, teethers, wood toys, and more. The toys range in price from $1 to $12.
