505 Games, MEG, and Giochi Preziosi Partner for Puppy In My Pocket

505 Games and toymakers MEG and Giochi Preziosi signed a deal for multi-platform videogames featuring the kids’ brand Puppy In My Pocket. The Italian and U.S. toy companies are producers, along with Mondo TV S.p.A., of the new animated television series Puppy In My Pocket: Adventures in Pocketville, which airs worldwide on Cartoon Network. The kids’ show will provide a world of exciting adventures and content for handheld platforms as well as mobile games for iOS and Android devices. Games are slated to debut next year. Licensing Works! brokered the deal on behalf of MEG and Giochi Preziosi, while Creative Minx Marketing, Inc., managed negotiations for 505 Games.

Hidden City Signs New Bella Sara Deals

Kidz Entertainment/EEMC, the licensing agent for Hidden City Entertainment’s Bella Sara, has brokered a new deal for a range of home furnishings, apparel, and stationery in European markets.

The deal gives TOP-TOY/K.E. Mathiasen A/S the rights to produce a range of Bella Sara-branded products, including book bags and book wrappers, towels, bed sets, T-shirts, sleeping bags, notebooks, and stationery sets. The new products will launch fall 2010 across Scandinavia, Germany, and Benelux. The company will also launch a Bella Sara toy line with Giochi Preziosi and carry the trading card game in its network of retail stores.

MEG Signs New Broadcast Deals for In My Pocket, Hires Sales Lead

MEG Toys has signed new broadcast deals for its new animated television series, Puppy In My Pocket Adventures in Pocketville, produced in HD. The series (52 x 13 minute episodes) will debut later this year in Italy, and across the rest of the world in 2011. Presales have been negotiated throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

MEG and Giochi Preziosi, co-producers with Mondo TV on the series, will coordinate and manage the licensing program for Adventures in Pocketville. Giochi Preziosi will manage Europe, excluding the UK, while MEG, in conjunction with its merchandising agent Licensing Works, will oversee the other territories. The new television series licensees will join Puppy In My Pocket licensees, including Scholastic Books, Bakery Craft, NTD, Senario, Cadaco, Wiesner, and Redan.
