Toy & Hobby China and Baby & Stroller China wrapped up on April 10 at the Poly World Trade Center Expo. The three-day events ran from April 8 to 10, and according to a report from the organizer, attracted 40,012 visitors and 1,001 exhibitors. This number was up 5 percent and 7.4 percent, respectively, over the events’ previous editions.
Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd. and the Guangdong Toy Association (GDTA) have formed Guangzhou Li Tong Messe Frankfurt Co. Ltd, a joint venture to reach a larger international audience and add variety to their separate visitor pools. The partnership will begin next year with the organization of two events: Toy & Hobby China and Baby & Stroller China.
The partnership will also expand the two fairs’ product offerings. R/C toys, computer games, and software and computer learning systems will be added to the list of new products featured at Toy & Hobby China, which also includes die-cast models and playground and outdoor equipment. Baby & Stroller China will also see a more complete product scope. The event will take place next year at the Poly World Trade Center in Guangzhou on April 8 to 10.
Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd and the Guangdong Toy Association (GDTA) have signed a letter of intent to join forces in organizing the Guangzhou International Toy and Hobby Fair and the Guangzhou International Stroller and Baby Product Fair starting next year.
The GDTA acts as an industry voice to communicate with the Chinese government and coordinate with the government for industry research and survey projects. It also organizes the Guangzhou International Toy and Hobby Fair.
Trade show organizer Messe Frankfurt is responsible for Ambiente, Christmasworld, Paperworld, and Tendence. It has exhibition and collaboration experience with different industry associations and government bodies in greater China.
