The partnership includes the rights to create kids and adult costumes based on DreamWorks heritage properties such as Shrek and VeggieTales, as well as upcoming movie releases Penguins of Madagascar, Home, and How to Train Your Dragon 3.
This Halloween, Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) will introduce adult, children, and pet costumes including a fully inflatable Godzilla costume, Dumb & Dumber-inspired dog costumes, and DC Comics superheroes and villain-inspired masks and costumes.
Adults will also be able to dress up as an infamous supervillain from Rubie’s Costume Co.’s Batman Classic TV Series Costume and Mask Collection, as well as characters from the Wizard of Oz and The Hobbit trilogy.
Rubie’s Costume Co. Inc. supplied 50 officially licensed Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy costumes to attendees at last Tuesday’s ringing of the bell at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy stars Chris Pratt, who played Star-Lord, and Zoe Saldana, who portrayed Gamora, joined Marvel Entertainment executives as they marked the opening day of trading.
“To partner with Marvel on such a monumental tradition of the bell ringing at the NYSE was truly an honor for us, and we were delighted the movie’s stars had a chance to see our designs and their likeness captured in costume form,” said Howard Beige, Rubie’s executive vice president.
The Guardians of the Galaxy Costume Collection by Rubie’s is available for this Halloween.
Rubie’s Costume Co. Inc., under license with Nickelodeon, has launched officially licensed costumes, masks, and accessories based on the soon-to-be-released film, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, by Nickelodeon Movies and distributed by Paramount Pictures. Available in child and adult sizes, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Costume Collection includes: Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael and Donatello. The new product line reflects a modern day interpretation of the popular franchise.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arrives in theaters on August 8, and the costume collection by Rubie’s is available now for Halloween.

Saban’s Power Rangers Megaforce celebrates this Halloween season with a variety of Power Rangers activities throughout October, including a Halloween safety campaign that highlights safety tips for kids to use while trick-or-treating. Rubie’s is now the worldwide licensee of Lady Gaga Halloween Costumes and Accessories. The announcement was made today by Howard Beige, executive vice president of Rubie’s. “We are extremely excited to put out the only officially licensed Halloween costumes for an amazing talent like Lady GaGa,” said Beige. Rubie’s will be producing these items in its factories around the world to ensure delivery for this Halloween.
