Mezco Toyz has announced that it will be creating a line of collectibles for Axe Cop. Mezco will be offering an assortment of merchandise for the Axe Cop license, including both action figures and plush collectibles. Featuring one of the largest and most surreal diverse casts, Mezco’s design team will be in overdrive bringing them to life for fans. Many of the designs for these soon-to-be-sought-after offerings will be available for viewing at http://www.mezcotoyz.com. Axe Cop, the animated series, will be premiering on Fox on July 27.
The Universal Monster line continues with a 9-inch-tall stylized Creature from the Black Lagoon and Mummy. A Dracula figure also joins the Living Dead Dolls. The Mez-Itz line of designer vinyl figures grows with the addition of Superman, as seen in the upcoming Man of Steel film.

Mezco Toyz has introduced the Dark Knight, Wonder Woman, and Catwoman Key Ring Mez-Itz as part of their 2012 Summer Exclusive lineup. The 6-inch Dark Knight Mez-Itz Mega Scale Batman is based on Batman’s look from Christopher Nolan’s film trio and features a cloth black cape. The 6-inch Metallic Wonder Woman Mez-Itz, the first female character in the DC Universe lineup, features sculpted hair, a metallic finish, and a rope Lasso of Truth. The Catwoman Key Ring 2-inch Mez-Itz features the feline fatale villain and a sturdy metal clasp. All Mez-Itz feature five points of articulation.
Other new products include the the Glow-in-the-Dark Mumm-Ra and Decayed-form Mumm-Ra two-Pack, the Metallic Earthworm Jim Action Figure, and the Living Dead Dolls Resurrection Set: Series 6.
Based on the original animated series, Mezco’s 14-inch Mumm-Ra features eight points of articulation and a cloth cape and bandages. The summer exclusive features a glow-in-the-dark blue skin and comes with a Decayed Form Mumm-Ra, showing him in his natural, decrepit state.
The Metallic Earthworm Jim Action Figure comes with a game-accurate plasma blaster and a special metallic-finish ultra-high-tech-indestructible-super-space-cyber-suit. The 6-inch scale Earthworm Jim features eight points of articulation. This edition comes with an alternate “bendy” unsuited worm body and a special “groovy” head sculpt.
The Living Dead Dolls Resurrection Set: Series 6 features Demonique, Blue, Schitzo, and Ms. Eerie. All four feature glass-like eyes. Each member of this limited edition quartet of the damned comes with its own death certificate and is entombed in its own coffin. Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) has announced the worldwide licensing program for Warner Bros. Pictures’ Green Lantern, to hit theaters June 17. The program will be led by DC Entertainment’s master toy licensee, Mattel.
Mattel will debut a toy line that will include the Green Lantern Ring Blast Jet Figure & Vehicle, the Green Lantern Battle Shifters Figures, and the Green Lantern Movie Masters Figures. The company’s multi-category toy line will include basic and deluxe action figures, figure/vehicles, role-play, play sets, games, puzzles, and vehicles. Each basic action figure will come with a Green Lantern ring that can make kids feel as if they have been “chosen” to be a Green Lantern, too.
Mezco Toyz has announced a deal with Warner Bros. Consumer Products on behalf of DC Comics to create Mez-Itz, Mezco’s signature designer vinyl brand. The deal gives Mezco Toyz access to the DC Comics catalogue of characters, which includes Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern.
The first characters introduced in the line will be Batman and the Joker, in a two pack of six inch Mez-Itz. They will debut at San Diego Comic Con in June 2010. The 12 inch Green Hornet figures will be released November 2010 and will feature 11 points of articulation, an alternate right hand, gas gun, and a cloth coat. The Kato figure will also be released November 2010 and will feature nine points of articulation and an alternate right hand with gun.
