Geronimo Stilton Animated Series Coming to U.S.

GeronimoStilton imageInternationally successful animated kids series, Geronimo Stilton, based on books of the same name, hits U.S. retail shelves on September 24. Co-producers Atlantyca Entertainment and Moonscoop  partnered with Entertainment One for the premiere DVD debut in the U.S.

Geronimo Stilton features the adventures of the famous Geronimo Stilton, a brilliant, bookish mouse and media empire mogul who would prefer to spend his days reading and playing chess with his very bright 12-year-old nephew, Benjamin.

Adventure always comes knocking at Geronimo’s door, and Geronimo and his pals are ready. Geronimo Stilton the animated series has proved itself popular with children across various countries worldwide.

 

Sabrina, the Teenage Witch to Return

Archie Comics is partnering with animation studio Moonscoop for a new animated series based on the adventures of Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. The new partnership will give the long-running character, popular since the 1970s, a new look that is more modern and teen-centric. Sabrina will face the trials and tribulations all teens come across, along with monsters and the supernatural.

The series will be produced in Moonscoop’s Los Angeles studio. The companies are looking to launch the animated series with a network or cable partner in the coming year.

New Wild Grinders Action Figures to be Developed by Mattel

Moonscoop, Wild Grinders, and Mattel, Inc. have signed a licensing deal for the new action-oriented, animated TV series, Wild Grinders. The series was created by Rob Dyrdek, a skateboarding icon and reality TV star (MTV’s Rob & Big and Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory). Mattel will develop, create, and market a new line of action figures, expected to launch this fall in the U.S.
