As part of Playmobil’s continued partnership with the National Hockey League, the company expanded its line of NHL playsets. The expanded line is inspired by 12 more NHL teams and will include player and goalie figures. Playmobil has launched the first line of official National Hockey League play sets. This partnership with the NHL also marks the first licensed line of Playmobil products in North America. The full product line is available now in stores nationwide.
The initial Playmobil NHL figures focus on the Original Six franchises— Boston Bruins, Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings, Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers, and Toronto Maple Leafs—with player and goalie figures for each team. Products in the line include a full NHL Hockey Arena with score-keeper, a Zamboni, NHL referees, and the Stanley Cup Trophy.
Powered by a generation of the best EA Sports technology, NHL 14 allows players to access the NHL Collision Physics, the all-new Enforcer Engine, and a new level of speed and control with the second season of the True Performance Skating engine.
Other new features and modes include One-Touch Dekes, Live in the Life Mode, NHL 94 Anniversary Mode, and Hocket Ultimate Team (HUT) and EA Sports Hockey League (EASHL) Online Seasons.

Big Tent Entertainment has signed a new licensing agreement with Plushland to bring viral sensation Domo to the world of sports. The long-term deal will see the launch of a line of branded plush featuring Domo decked out in college, MLB, and NHL team logos, as well as a number of destination slogans and sayings, including “I Love New York.” Beginning next spring, campus bookstores, specialty stores, and other sports merchandisers will feature the new Domo plush line, which includes fuzzy dice, cubes, balls, and pillows.
