Tickety Toc Announces Three New U.S. Partners

Studio.TicketyTocThree new licensees have signed on to the Tickety Toc brand to create new products this fall. BirthdayExpress.com has signed for branded products including plates, napkins, cups, invitations, thank you notes, table covers, placemats, centerpieces, and sticker sheets. Bakery Crafts has signed for branded cake and cupcake decorations, including cupcake rings and picks, and edible images for cakes, cupcakes, cookies, candles, and candle holders. Lastly, InCharacter Costumes has signed for branded costumes for toddlers and preschoolers. The deals were brokered by Established Brands on behalf of Zodiak Kids.

    

Saban Brands’ Julius Jr. to Premiere on Nick Jr.

Julius JrSaban Brands’ and Nick Jr. have announced that Julius Jr., the all-new animated preschool series, will debut September 29 at 11 a.m. (EST/PST) on Nick Jr. Inspired by the Paul Frank family of characters, the series will follow the adventures of a young version of Julius the monkey, Julius Jr., along with all of his playful friends. Through imagination and inventive spirit, each help one another overcome challenges both big and small, ultimately teaching children that the best inventions are the ones that help your friends.

Just Play Debuts Tickety Toc Toy Line, Available Exclusively at Toys “R” Us

Studio.TicketyTocA brand-new Tickety Toc toy line, from Just Play, has come to Toys “R” Us to be the first-ever toy range based on the Nick Jr. preschool series from Zodiac Kids. The line features all of Tickety Town’s loveable friends through interactive trains and playsets, huggable talking dolls and plush, collectible figurines, and more.

The new Tickety Toc toy line for kids ages 3 and up features an assortment of imagination-inspiring playthings available at Toys “R” Us stores nationwide and online at toysrus.com, including:

  • Tickety Toc Clockhouse: Preschoolers can recreate Tickety Toc adventures with this special play set. Young fans can give Pufferty a push around the track, take the twins on-board, and turn the special cogs to open the Clockhouse doors, unlocking more fun inside. With endless escapades to embark on, this play set is “right on time” to deliver tons of fun for young Chime Timers. Tickety Toc to Debut on DVD This September

Chime Time 3D DVD Cover Art - FinalTickety Toc, the new Nick Jr. series from Zodiak Rights, arrives on DVD for the first time from Anchor Bay Entertainment. Chime Time Adventures is the debut Tickety Toc title, and will be available nationwide this September in time for the back-to-school season.

Tickety Toc follows the everyday adventures of 6-year-old twins, Tommy and Tallulah, as they work to “chime the time” and keep everything running smoothly in Tickety Town. Traveling through the Tickety Toc clock, where Tommy and Tallulah live, audiences enter a CGI world of eclectic characters and tag along on escapades filled with surprises. Tommy and Tallulah’s strong “can do” spirit often produces an unanticipated outcome, but their individual approach to sticky situations and joint resourcefulness always shine through and saves the day.  Through the twins’ madcap adventures, Tickety Toc explores teamwork, social responsibility, and problem solving—important concepts for preschoolers as they learn and grow.

The first-ever six episode collection brings viewers along as the twins and their friends—Pufferty, McCoggins, Tooteroo, Madame Au Lait, Battersby, Chikidee, and Hopparoo—embark on wild storybook shenanigans and hijinks throughout Tickety Town. In Chime Time Adventures, the Tick Tocketeers attempt daring circus acts, wow a crowd with amazing magic tricks, play a giant game of Tickety-Tag and delight in a messy photo day. The premiere title features episodes, “Story Time,” “Painting Time,” “Show Time,” “Bath Time,” “Photo Time”, and “Play Time.”  

SMC Entertainment Group Appointed Licensing Agent for Poppy Cat

poppycat_4SMC Entertainment Group Inc. (SMC) has been appointed the exclusive licensing agent in North America for the TV series Poppy Cat. SMC will launch a licensing and merchandising program based on the colorful Poppy Cat characters, focusing on toys, plush, apparel, accessories, room décor, bedding, games, and more. The program will target girls and boys ages 2 to 5.

Poppy Cat is co-produced by Coolabi’s TV production arm, Coolabi Productions, and King Rollo Films, and was commissioned by Nick Jr. in the UK.

Entertainment One Expands Peppa Pig Brand

peppa_pigEntertainment One Family announces the U.S. expansion of the Peppa Pig brand. Based on the Nick Jr. animated television series Peppa Pig, the licensing deals will mark the brand’s U.S. debut in several categories: games and puzzles, backpacks and lunch kits, health, beauty and accessories, novelty gear, and magazine publishing.

The deal includes TCG‘s Tumble & Spin memory game and Fast Forward‘s Peppa Pig backpacks and lunch kits for children ages 2 to 6. Added Extras will produce a line of hair accessories, bath and hair products, lip balm, and costume jewelry. Underground Toys will produce an assortment of collectible gear for Peppa fans of all ages.

In addition to the new licensing deals, the brand will launch the following line extensions: Redan Publishing will dedicated an issue of their interactive magazine to Peppa Pig for children, Fisher-Price will release new Bedtime Peppa plush dolls and Muddy Puddles Bathtime Peppa toys, and an assortment of new board, softcover, and hardcover books will be launched in this year by Scholastic and Candlewick PressEntertainment One’s  new DVD Bubbles will include ten fun-filled episodes featuring wholesome entertainment for the entire family. All products are set to be released throughout the remainder of this year and 2014.

Wonder Forge Secures Game Rights to Tickety Toc

wonderforgeWonder Forge has recently secured game licensing rights to Tickety Toc through a multi-year partnership with Zodiak Kids, brokered by U.S. licensing agent Established Brands. Tickety Toc airs seven days a week on Nick Jr. The partnership is the latest in a string of properties secured by Wonder Forge.

Wonder Forge will debut its Tickety Toc Matching Game this fall through an exclusive retail partnership with Toys “R” Us and will launch additional signature games next year. A multi-category consumer products program will launch in North America this fall led by master toy partner Just Play and home entertainment partner Anchor Bay Entertainment.

Tickety Toc features Tommy and Tallulah and their friends as they race against time to keep the clock ticking. Through Tommy and Tallulah’s madcap adventures, Tickety Toc explores concepts of teamwork, social responsibility, and problem solving.

TCG Partners with Entertainment One for Peppa Pig Puzzles and Activities

eOne.PeppaPigTCG has entered into a new licensing partnership with Entertainment One to manufacture, distribute, and market a new line of puzzles and activities featuring Peppa Pig in North America. The Peppa Pig puzzles and activities are expected to launch at mass-market, toy, drug, and online retailers in August.

The new product line, targeted to preschoolers, will include three 24-piece and three 48-piece jigsaw puzzles, and Magnetic Creations. Each puzzle and activity captures the essence of Peppa, the loveable star of the hit animated television show for preschoolers, Peppa Pig, which airs on Nick Jr. in the U.S.

New Yo Gabba Gabba! Products Arrive at Toys “R” Us

Now in its fourth season on Nick Jr., Yo Gabba Gabba! is a live-action TV series and live stage show whose unconventional formula has created a triple stacked fan base. Jazwares will introduce new Yo Gabba Gabba! figures, plush, and electronics to the Toys “R” Us toy aisles this year. Featuring characters from the series, including Brobee, Foofa, Muno, Plex, and Toodee, the line includes electronics such as an interactive microphone, articulated figure assortments, and plush. Season 2 of Mike The Knight Gets Greenlight from HIT Entertainment, Nelvana

HIT Entertainment and Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana have approved a second season of their preschool phenomenon, Mike the Knight.

MTK_GROUP_CastleThe second season, comprising 52 x 12-minute episodes, is in production and is set to begin delivery to broadcasters in late Spring. HIT Entertainment and Nelvana Studio will produce the series jointly. In the second season, viewers will be introduced to Mike’s father and role model, the King of Glendragon, who has been away exploring faraway lands.

Treehouse in Canada, CBeebies in the UK, and Nick Jr. in the U.S. have committed to air Season 2 of Mike the Knight starting in May in Canada, this summer in the UK, and later in the fall in the U.S.
