Fashion Delivers Charitable Foundation and Kids In Distressed Situations (K.I.D.S.) Inc., are calling on manufacturers and retailers to donate essential new products to help people affected by last week’s tornado in Oklahoma. The twister tore through Oklahoma City suburbs, killing at least 24 people, injuring hundreds and leaving many more homeless. Fashion Delivers and K.I.D.S. are assessing needs on the ground in Moore, Oklahoma, and reaching out to corporate partners for the greatest needs: new clothing including T-shirts, jeans, underwear, socks and rubber-soled shoes, blankets, sheets, towels, diapers, hygiene products, and furnishings for families.
Both Fashion Delivers and K.I.D.S. are supporting the following community partners providing tornado relief efforts on the ground: Operation Compassion, Operation Homefront Oklahoma, Infant Parent Intervention Center, Comanche Nation Higher Education Programs, Food and Shelter For Friends, Midwest Military Outreach, Operation Homefront Missouri, and H.E.R.O.E.S. Care. [Read more...]
