. This ninth installment in PlayDate Digital’s My Little Pony app collection is based on the episode, “Maud Pie,” from the fourth season of the animated series, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, created by Hasbro Studios and currently airing on Discovery Family Channel in the U.S.
Aurora World Inc. is adding to its My Little Pony plush collection with 12 new ponies featuring styled, brushable hair with glistening, mylar accents. These 12 new styles feature characters Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Princess Twilight Sparkle in both 6.5-inch and new 13-inch, medium sizes.
Aurora will showcase its latest products at both The Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market on January 6 to 13, and North American International Toy Fair on February 14 to 17.
Disguise Inc.’s Halloween costume line-up for this year includes popular characters for the entire family based on theatrical blockbusters, popular television shows, pop culture, and more.
This year’s line-up includes toddler and children’s costumes for Elsa, Anna, and Olaf from Disney’s Frozen, as well as an adult Elsa costume. From Disney’s Maleficent, Maleficent and Aurora costumes are available in sizes for children and adults. Disney Junior properties such as Sofia the First and Doc McStuffins have costumes in baby, toddler, and child sizes.
The classic Minnie Mouse costume is available in sizes ranging from baby to adult. Super Mario Bros fans can dress up as their favorite characters including Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach. Costumes for Bumblebee and Optimus Prime from Hasbro’s Transformers are available in baby to adult sizes.
Children and adult fans of Hasbro’s My Little Pony can dress up as their favorite characters, including Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie. Accessories and costumes for Saban’s Power Rangers span from baby, to child, to adult.
Hasbro Inc. has signed a global licensing agreement with PEZ International to develop a My Little Pony-branded line of PEZ dispensers, PEZ dextrose fizzy candy, and fizzy rolls. The new dispensers and candy are on display at Hasbro’s booth at Brand Licensing Europe in London, and will be available beginning in early 2015 in Germany, France, and Austria, followed by additional markets worldwide.
The My Little Pony line of PEZ dispensers will be based on Pinkie Pie, Twilight Sparkle, and Rainbow Dash, and the assorted fruit candy range will include lemon, strawberry, orange, and cherry flavors.
“Weird Al” Yankovic will guest star as Cheese Sandwich and compete with Pinkie Pie for best party planning pony on the February 1 episode of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. An excited Pinkie Pie plans the best party ever for Rainbow Dash, but Cheese Sandwich will plan another one that will make every pony forget about Pinkie Pie. With Pinkie Pie’s reputation challenged, she won’t go down without an ultimate goof-off showdown. The episode will air on February 1 10:30 a.m. ET/7:30 PT on the Hub Network.
Build-A-Bear Workshop will bring the My Little Pony brand to store shelves with a collection of characters under license from Hasbro Inc. Arriving April 1, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash will be available at Build-A-Bear Workshop stores throughout North America and online at Buildabear.com. The first ever make-your-own My Little Pony plush allows customers to personalize the characters.
Build-A-Bear Workshop stores nationwide will hold a series of special events from April 1 through April 7. Customers and associates will be encouraged to dress up in their favorite My Little Pony fashions. Additionally, while making a My Little Pony friend, guests can take a pony personality quiz, recite the pony promise, and learn how to style their pony’s hair with a special hair care brochure. Pinkie Pie has signature pink locks, and Rainbow Dash has a multi-colored mane that can be brushed, combed, and braided. Guests can dress Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash in their signature capes or a variety of other fashions.
