Sprig Returns to the Market with New Toys

SprigSprig toys will return to the market with a new eco-friendly, bioplastic toy line made from sugar cane and corncobs. A Kickstarter campaign was launched to help fund the production of its toys.

Originally created by toymakers David Bowen and Chris Clemmer, Sprig was bought out in 2010 by Wham-O. One year later, Bowen and Clemmer founded BeginAgain to continue to produce unplugged toys for seven years. Bowen and Clemmer bought back Sprig, and new manufacturing jobs will return to the U.S. from China. Each Sprig toy will be sustainable, moving away from oil-based plastics with the new bioplastic.
